This week Foehn announces it has successfully passed an in-depth security audit to become ISO 27001 certified.
The ISO 27001 accreditation is the only auditable international standard that defines the requirements for an organisation's Information Security Management System.
For Foehn, the independent verification represents a culmination of sustained, systematic and thorough efforts by the company to instil and demonstrate processes, policies and behaviours relating to security.
From document change processes to physical security, every aspect of Foehn's security was under scrutiny during the audit.
Jeff Curley, Business Development Director at Foehn was pleased with the outcome. "Information security is something very important to Foehn. It's great to know our efforts to maintain and improve information security can now be recognised by an industry standard. We have a very secure environment at Foehn and this certification provides solid assurance to our clients and partners that the security standards we have for protecting data and the processes of our support operations are of the highest order."
