About Bytemobile
Bytemobile was founded in 2000 to provide optimisation solutions for mobile network operators. It deployed its' first commercial network in 2001 and, with customers like 3, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone, it now owns a dominant share of the mobile data optimisation market with deployments in 115 networks, across 56 countries, reaching over a billion subscribers.
In 2008 Bytemobile was named to Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley and in 2007 it was named to Deloitte's Wireless Fast 50 and Technology Fast 50 programs. This demonstrates its strength, vision and tenacity to succeed in today's very competitive technology environment.
Since the Bytemobile partnership commenced in 2001, at a point where Bytemobile entered the EMEA space, Foehn has provided it with an adaptive mix of pan EMEA technical pre-sales, deployment and support services. Successfully deploying and supporting Bytemobile's platforms requires a diverse skills blend; namely an ability to work with developers, product managers and architects to understand highly bespoke and feature rich technologies; IP expertise; and a solid foundation of competency with data centre platforms, including Solaris, IBM Blades and a range of Load Balancing technologies (such as F5 LTM, Alteon and Cisco CSM).
