What is ITIL?
ITIL defines within a set of structured volumes best practise associated with the delivery and management of IT services. The library was generated by the UK government as a means of standardising practise across IT initiatives in different government departments. However it is now adopted beyond government projects and accepted as the benchmark.
ITIL is published in a series of volumes. Version 2 has 9 volumes.

- Service Delivery
- ICT Infrastructure Management
- Security Management
